Quality Coordinator - Mental Health


Mental Health, Addictions & Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) is looking for a well organised and enthusiastic health professional with experience in quality assurance and development. Reporting to the Quality and Risk Manager, you will facilitate continuous quality improvement and risk management activities across MHAID Service.

The Quality Coordinator will support the Service in the delivery of the quality agenda, the development of quality improvement and risk management capability in services, the provision of timely data, reporting and coordination services as appropriate.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Have completed a postgraduate qualification
  • Understanding of customer service, quality and service improvement
  • Knowledge of  risk management processes and planning approaches
  • A sound understanding of performance and reporting frameworks
  • Demonstrated research and practice development
  • Holds a relevant Health Professional registration with a recognised professional body and current annual practicing certificate, desirable
  • Demonstrated specialist clinical skills,  desirable

The Mental Health, Addiction and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) spans three DHBs - Wairarapa, Hutt Valley and Capital and Coast DHB’s and includes local, regional, and national services. The local MHAIDS services are provided from multiple sites within the 3DHB sub-region – greater Wellington, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa.
