Our Central Region Eating Disorder Service (CREDS) is looking for a dynamic, energetic and experienced eating disorder clinician to join their unique multi-disciplinary team.

CREDS offers treatment and therapy services to individuals with eating disorders, as part of the Mental Health, Addictions and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) operated by the Wairarapa, Hutt Valley and Capital and Coast District Health Boards. We provide a full range of specialist services to people with eating disorders in the greater Wellington area – from nutritional counseling, outpatient therapy and psycho-social education through to a 6-bed Residential Programme and a 7am-7pm Therapeutic Day Programme.

This exciting role will involve provision of assessment, individual and family therapy services. CREDS is open to applications from clinicians with a current scope of practise in Psychology, Psychotherapy, Social Work, Occupational Therapy & Nursing.

Skills & Experience:

  • Formal Family Based Therapy (FBT) training
  • Current NZ registration - Psychology, Psychotherapy, Social Work, Occupational Therapy & Nursing
  • Experience working with individuals with eating disorders and their families
