Mental Health Professional - RPDS


Regional Personality Disorder Service (RPDS) is a small team that provides a consultation, training and supervision service to support mental health teams to improve clarity of diagnosis, formulation and or management for clients with complex needs.

We are seeking a motivated, forward thinker, resourceful, and enthusiastic Registered Health Professional (Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Nurse or Psychologist) to join our team.  The role is 24 hours per week.

You will be committed to working collaboratively with the team at RPDS as well as other clinicians to help provide appropriate care and specific treatment that will assist clients and whanau with BPD and/or significant distress intolerance or emotional dysregulation that impacts on valued living (across the lifespan). 

RPDS is committed to establishing best practice principles for the care and treatment of complex high risk clients.

Requirements:

  • Current NZ Registration for  Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse, or Psychologist
  • Qualification and experience in DBT or other evidence based model for treatment of PD is essential
  •  At least 5 years experience
