About the role
We are seeking a mental health social worker to join this dynamic & enthusiastic team at Wellington hospital. You will work amongst a multidisciplinary team to provide social work input.
About Te Whare O Matairangi (TWOM):
Te Whare O Matairangi (TWOM) provides acute and intensive inpatient services for people experiencing severe mental distress, who are too unwell to be cared for at home and who require intensive care, treatment and support. The focus here is on recovery and returning people to their home.
- Support with housing
- Whanau and community liaison
- Experience in Mental Health
Skills & Experience:
- Current Annual Practising Certificate
- Registered with the social workers board
- Ability to support service users/tangata whaiora
